THE GOSPEL
At CBC we want everything we do to be centered in the truth of the gospel. The gospel teaches that we are all sinners who need God's saving grace. As human beings we are born separated from God due to man's choice to disobey Him (
Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12; Genesis 3:1-24 ). There is no human remedy to this problem God calls sin, and the consequences of it are suffering God's wrath forever, separated from Him, and burning in a literal hell (
Revelations 20:15; Matthew 25:46; Revelations 20:12-13 ). BUT KEEP READING, because God has provided a solution to this problem: THE GOSPEL; The Good News. Our relationship with God can be restored, but only be by trusting in the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. Jesus voluntarily left Heaven and came to earth through miracle of a 'virgin birth.' He came to willingly give up His life to reconcile mankind to God. His death, burial, and resurrection provide for forgiveness of sin, and a personal relationship with God. This gift is based on His grace and character alone, and will never be taken away. He now lives in heaven to save all who have faith in Him. (

) Jesus Christ is our Savior, the word of Life, the good news, the gospel. AMEN!!
